Singapore’s breakfast scene just got a serious upgrade with SUNRISE at AIR CCCC x Le Matin, a weekend-only morning affair at the lush Dempsey Hill. A collaboration between AIR CCCC and Le Matin Patisserie, this breakfast concept delivers artisanal pastries, gourmet savouries, and expertly curated coffee and tea selections—all set in a pet-friendly, open-air environment that feels almost too serene to be in Singapore.
Available from Friday to Sunday from 8 AM until sold out, SUNRISE invites early risers to start their day with indulgent baked goods and comforting savoury bites while basking in the gentle morning sun. The setting is refreshingly laid-back, encouraging diners to slow down and savour each bite while surrounded by nature.
We were invited for a morning tasting and headed down to SUNRISE at 8am on a Sunday morning. We were pleasantly surprised to see a small queue forming and a group of people already frolicking in the gentle morning sun, some with pets and toddlers.

Driven by a keen palate and a passion for pastry, Chef Matin honed his skills under world-renowned chefs like Adriano Zumbo, Christopher Thé, Peter Gilmore, Andre Chiang, and René Redzepi. After two years as Pastry Sous Chef at Noma, he returned home to share his love for fine dining and patisserie through Le Matin Patisserie.
Chef Matin’s dedication to quality and sustainability is evident in every aspect of the menu, from the thoughtful sourcing of ingredients to the meticulous craftsmanship behind each item. It is worth waking up early and make a trip down to SUNRISE, just to savour Chef Matin’s creations.
